I once worked on an employment and vocational training project in Baghdad, Iraq as an IT Manager. There were millions of jobseekers after the war, and we were working to develop different programs to help them. I met thousands of jobseekers, all of them having the same traditional resume that didn’t show even 10% of their strengths. After that, as I volunteered myself to people online and offline, I saw that many people were not aware of who they were; so I started to help job seekers find and brand themselves in order to stand out and be ahead of the competition. That was my inspiration to combine social media tools, my career experience, and personal branding into this blog, which has also become my part time business.

Malcolm Gladwell says that it takes 10,000 hours to become the best at something or an expert. That’s why reading is one of my biggest interests; I’m continuously reading everywhere I go 
I have 100+ books in my Amazon Wish List, I wish to read all of them, but after all, I can’t buy time. Many times, I read the same book 3 times in order to fully grasp the information.
I’m a former: national champion swimmer, national water polo goalkeeper, and Olympic basketball player. Now, I’m a soccer striker who never misses a penalty!
My Brand Models:
Micheal Jordan: He was my champion when I was playing basketball. I love his passion for the game, and I get inspired by his quotes, books and ads. A reminder photo with him is a dream.
Steve Jobs: I respect his brand because it took him years of innovation, clarity and perseverance to build his character. I would be honored to interview him.
Donald Trump: I like “The Apprentice” TV show because I learn how and when to take resolute decisions and how to lead a team. His quotes give me a strong belief in my BIG dreams. It’s exciting for me to get managed by him but not fired!
Roger Federer: Having a persistent attitude to break all tennis records, it took him time, effort, and patience to achieve what he wanted. A humble man with superior history. I wish to meet him
