There is no doubt that Facebook is the ruler of social media networks today. With 500,000,000+ active users, we are forced to use Facebook as a marketing tool for our personal or business’s brand. In order to distinguish your business on Facebook whether a page or a group, you need to brand your message.
Part of the services that I’m providing at BrandMyCareer is Masterpiece resume. I showed part of the ideas in 5 Innovative Ideas for Writing a Brand Resume. Today, I’m starting a new service which is called scrapbook resume (Personal) where I offer a visual resume that can be used as your Facebook profile picture, website/blog bio, additional career documents, etc. Scrapbook resume is a visual resume that shows a real picture of you as a storytelling of major achievements and key milestones in your life and career.
Also, I’m offering scrapbook resume (Business) for Facebook “Like” page where you can introduce yourself (or your business) in a very unique and interesting way, check BrandMyCareer for examples of this service.
You can win a scrapbook resume for FREE by commenting below (or Email me) with your needs. Why do you need this resume? Share your Facebook like page if possible. I will contact the winner on June 28, 2010
If you have a Facebook “Like” (formally fan) page then you are about to change your fans’ experience about your personal or business’ brand. Remember, this time it’s FREE

It is a very good idea, paper resume is long gone. It is a new age, a new era.

I’m in desperate need of a landing page for our Journey Jottings Fan page:
http://www.facebook.com/JourneyJottings
And this style fits *us* to a ‘T’
We *highlight your holiday adventures* in Australia by offering a pictorial map upon which to dot your trails, and areas to jot your tales so as to simply summarize your trip on a single sheet ~
What a perfect marriage your scrapbook resume is ~ It reflects and conveys exactly what we are about in one visual breath!
What better way to introduce ourselves, as we all know first impressions count

I think the Scrapbook resume would really be a great service to those of us in the visual arts field. Many fine artists or those whose artwork is in print media don’t have web pages. Scrapbook resume looks like a great solution to catch someone’s eye and let them immediately see what a particular artist is about.

Agree Valerie, I believe that visual resume will be the future for job search and scrapbook resume will be the new business home page for Facebook pages.
Do you have Facebook page? Are you planning to participate?

Yes, Mohammed, I do have a Facebook page and I even started a fan page but I haven’t finished it yet. I’m just (as in, the last 3 weeks) learning how to use FB, Twitter and LinkedIn as marketing tools (thanks to #HeatherColeman)! I’m just trying to get my artwork seen by children’s book publishers and other potential clients. So, I guess I’m participating.
